Joel's watercolors
All of my life I have been painting. My mother wa a professional watercolor artist along with 2 of my siblings. I love to paint and try to capture the beauty around us. I hope you enjoy looking at my work.
Why do we use "Triumph" in our name?
Ben and I have always liked sports cars. When Ben was 15 years old we embarked on rebuilding a 1974 British Triumph TR-6. We were lucky and found a car without too much rust but it needed some serious love and care. I was a bit handy around cars but never embarked on removing and rebuilding an engine. We kept meticulous notes that were sometimes helpful (haha). As an example, when we removed all the electrical wiring we carefully numbered each wire with masking tape and permanent marker, noted its location in our spiral and then removed the engine keeping the wires tucked away. While the car was at the body shop, we had the engine compartment “sandblasted” to remove the rust, etc. Later we found out the chemical they used removed permanent markers. We then had to learn how to read schematics. We learned a lot, grew close together and accomplished something neither of us thought we could.
